What We Do

Jai Jui has been successful in bringing about desired changes in a relatively short time within the underdeveloped areas of Solapur , the rural areas of the south and north Solapur Districts, and especially the SHGs and the youth. We have also made considerable progress in raising levels of environmental consciousness and awareness, not only through education but also by delivering essential services to the backward communities.

We aim for this change to be sustainable development, as opposed to a one time change enforced by external agencies. However most of the target groups are illiterate, poor, socially deprived, unorganized and too weak to organize themselves. They do not have the necessary skills and expertise to convert their needs into demands. It is therefore necessary to organize such initiatives through a process of awareness creation of their needs, goals and rights. We plan on bringing about this change through information sharing, dissemination of knowledge and most importantly providing access and opportunity and employment opportunities. With this objective, Jai Jui encourages entrepreneurship amongst the youth by providing them with various skills and livelihood options.
